Collections of articles, pictures and information about local families
A-C D-K L-R S-Z

The links above take you to a list of the family folders that are available.
The list also has the names of family books that were in the museum archives.
This family list grows nearly every week. It was last updated Dec 2022
Additions of local family pictures and information is welcome.
Please send to Sue@WiseCountyTexas.info and it will be included in our family files.
We have flash drives of these files that can be mailed/$30. They have images of all of the papers/pictures/articles plus there is a searchable PDF of the whole file. Some of the family files have lots of good information, while others may only have one thing in them. Several families can be included on one flash drive. Ask about a file before you order it contact@wisehistory.com
The over 2,000 family file folders were kept in 4 file cabinets with 4 drawers each. The family information in the folders has been collected for over 50 years.

Each family file now has a checklist that
searched our records for that last name.

Birth, school, marriage, death information, and some local history books
have been searched and are printed with the checklist.
Below is the first page of the Checklist of most of the family information that was at the museum.
Lines marked with yellow have been completed for each family file.

Blue underlined words and Xs are links to web pages.

Some information is not online and was only be found at the museum or digitized (Column of red X's)
